We look forward to welcoming you to the Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club for the 2018 Minnow State Championships. Run in cooperation with the Minnow Association of WA, this regatta endeavours to provide a safe, fun and competitive atmosphere for both competitors and spectators alike.

The cost of entry of the regatta is $75 before the 15th January and $85 thereafter. Entries close at 09:00hrs on Saturday 3rd March 2018.

Participants are encouraged to ensure their boats are regatta ready. All boats entered will be required to have a tow ring at the bow, centreboard strap and bailing bucket. Please ensure the PFD is the correct size for the participating sailor and in good condition. All boats and PFD’s will be checked for safety equipment before going on water.
The Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club is located at 307 Geographe Bay Road, Quindalup.
Limited parking is available at the club therefore trailers will need to be stored at your own accommodation or at the overflow car park located at 334 Geographe Bay Road, Quindalup.

Please join us on Friday evening for our Welcome Barbecue. You may drop off your boats to the club if you wish. Food will be served from 17:00hrs. The bar will be open from 16:00hrs.
The parents of DBYC juniors will be providing a breakfast barbecue on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday mornings. A nominal fee of $5 will apply. Breakfast will be served at approximately 08:00hrs. Tea and coffee will be available.
Parents of DBYC juniors will be providing a canteen service for sailors, support crew and spectator’s lunches. Menu items will be made available on the morning and orders must be placed and paid for at the canteen before 09:00hrs.
Join us for a family dinner on Saturday night after racing. We will be serving hot beef and gravy rolls with salad or slaw and fruit for $7.00 per head. Please inform us if you will be attending on Saturday morning (by 11:00hrs) by placing your name on the list attached to the notice board in front of the clubhouse. Dinner is served at 18:00hrs.
On Sunday night, the Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club’s house committee will be serving fresh home made lasagne for $7.00 per head. Their will be a choice of vegetarian or meat lasagne and fruit for desert. Please let us know if you plan to attend by filling in the form on the notice board in front of the clubhouse (by 11:00hrs on sunday). Please advise any dietary requirements.
Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club will be serving a complementary hamburger or vegie burger to all competitors following the presentations on Monday afternoon. Parents and spectators are able to purchase a burger and an assortment of fruit for $5 per head.
Toilets and hot showers are available to sailors and support crews. The toilets are located at the western end of the clubhouse, accessed via the car park. Showers are located adjacent to the main entrance to the clubhouse. The access code to the facilities is C1650. Please DO NOT pass this code on to anyone who is not involved in the regatta.
Presentations will be held upstairs inside the clubhouse at approximately 12:00hrs on Monday afternoon. Lunch will be provided afterwards.
